3rd Annual 2009

Winter Patch and Reef Championship
Harold Cliff Memorial Trophy
Recap

Once again mother nature was not kind. We had 16 boats/people registered to fish. Eight weighed in fish and at least 4 others fished (or tried) with no weigh in. This was our best overall participation. Day 2 wind was not as bad as Day 1 but the fishing seemed better on day 1 or we just had more time. Mel's Team proved last year was not a lucky shot. Can they "three peat"? For Club parity I'm suggesting breaking the team up, or pay for fishing lesson's for the rest of us. Don Crouch's Hog Snapper was the Trophy fish of the day closely followed by Russ Swanson's Yellow Tail. A Big Thank You to Lee and her crew for an outstanding feast and all the work it takes to put it together. Lee, Pat, Sara Kallis, Dee Dee Ellis, and others. Also the dishes to pass get better and better each year. Other than the confusion with Day Light Savings time this years event went very smoothly.
